The first nose is quite aggressive and the presence of alcohol is obvious and causes a quite annoying tingling. Some medicinal notes (ether) followed by a discrete peat, the whole being completed by fresh citrus notes (orange, tangerine).
The palate balances between citrus acidity and peat. Here too a strong presence of alcohol at the first contact. This dims fortunately rather soon, and peat takes control, nicely integrated with the citrus notes which remain all along the tasting. Although a little hinder due to alcohol is indubitable, the mouth is very pleasant.
Finish is rather long and all the citrus acidity seems to have disappeared and peat can express itself freely now.
Very nice cough drop hints appear at the end.
