Colour: Old gold
A beautiful nose which combines the smell of malt, fresh hay, a touch of metal. Then come the flowers and some woody notes coming after citrus scents, overripe orange. A very nice complexity and a real treat.
The first palate is one of great complexity where the wonderful taste of toasted malt mingles with the sweetness of ripe fruit (peach) before evolving into notes of dried fruit. The whole is remarkably integrated and has a superb balance.
Long finish shared between memories of roasted barley, cashews and citrus overripe.
