A rather complex nose with slight aromas of hay, a hint of cut grass and hints of yeast in addition to all, unfortunately. A slight smell of meat juices also appear to emerge. The nose is pleasant but not very engaging for the rest.
On the palate, a relatively complex whisky, nice, without however a lot of frills. A nice malt presence, acid notes alternating with a malty sweetness.
The finish is no surprise. Pleasant as was the entire tasting, but nothing spectacular.
Another good whisky.
