After the first a bit unpleasant tingling due to alcohol which seems to be moderately under control, tingling fortunately disappearing quickly, the nose reveals beautiful notes of plum jam mixed with hints of toast.
A first impression on the palatemixing acid notes of green fruit, a bit of cut grass and sherry that comes in force after a few moments with its notes of plum jam give great complexity to the whisky. The balance comes also, but only a little later.
The finish is long and hot enough and the same notes of sherry with a hint of bitterness prolong the pleasure for long minutes.
