For the peat lovers, this is a very nice nose. A mix of peat, smoke and citrus fruit hints giving it a nice complexity. A basket of lemons abandoned in a peat bog near a fire.
The mouth gives lots of pleasure too even if this young whisky would probably have been even more pleasant in a cask strength version. Nice presence of smoke and peat. You never would think this whisky is so young.
The finish is merely dominated by smoke.
