Quite a fresh nose with nice hay notes mixed to heady floral notes. A citrus fruit impression and a touch of smoke just complete the whole.
The very first attack in the palate is quite acid, and alcohol is obviously present. Nice complexity, with this mix of freshness and that light bitterness giving it some body. The alcohol which was a bit hindering at the firs contact is now much more civilised. A nice balance between the citrus notes and the smooth bitterness of hazelnuts which develops after the first impression.
Finish is lingering and warm. Some chocolate notes are sharing the attention with a kind of acidity which remains dominating. Here too, a nice contrast between bitterness and freshness.
