The first nose is both smoky and fruity, with marine hints. Fish on the beach. Iodine and see spray.
The mouth is very interesting too. Nice complexity, mix of malt and fish. Nice balance between malty smoothness and sea fragrances of the fish. Some peat on the background. Developing on cocoa. Nice palate!
The finish is lingering and worm, with memories of chocolate, smoke and sea.
Another nice example of the revival of this distillery.
