Quite a discrete nose even if the medicinal character of the distillery is immediately present. Beyond this, smoke and fruity notes are intimately linked. Interesting nose.
The mouth is marked by pleasant notes mixing peat and fruit with some smoke on the background. A typical Laphroaig... Notes of coffee, cocoa and everything of what makes the pleasure of the palate with this distillery. No hinder due to alcohol, dislike other bottlings in this series.
Nice finish, pleasantly long with still the memories of coffee and chocolate.
A very good bottle.
