Nice hints of malt with a touch of smoke and lots of ripe fruits and vanilla touches. A great smoothness and a very refined nose.
A firework of fruits in the palate. Mix of peaches and acid green apples, pear, hints of cashew nuts. Great balance and nice complexity.
Finish is on fruit too. Lingering and very pleasant.
The sherry version 1972 was however slightly superior, but this release is great too.
