A nice nose with first a pleasant but discrete oily peat developing quickly on fruity notes on one hand and on a clearly medicinal character on the other hand. After a few minutes, the nose reveals all its complexity.
The mouth presents a delicate balance between peat and very nice mango and other exotic fruits notes. An exceptional presence in the palate.
The finish is warm with touches of bitterness adding to the impressions described above. The finish develops clearly as the time goes. It seem never to end. It goes and comes between a light bitterness (cashew nuts) and exotic fruit with very nice peaty notes.
A very great Ardbeg.
