Color: Gold
The nose is relatively linear marked above all by the smell of yeast that I generally not particularly appreciate. There is fortunately more in the nose. Well balanced and not aggressive. Too bad, this persistence of yeast ...
The mouth is not very spectacular. Nice no more. Relatively linear, marked especially by malty smoothness, but not exuberantly fruity or anything else. But it's still a nice easy to drink whisky.
Final rather unexpected ... notes of Oxo cubes style ... then a slow evolution towards peppery and spicy memories. It is also extremely long and very pleasant. I know few whiskys that are a little disappointing at the nose and mouth and prove to have a fabulous finish. This is an example.
