The nose is clearly marked by yeast hints. Behind this first impression, there is a light veil of smoke and some farmy smells, wet hay.
In the palate, this whisky becomes more interesting with some nice fruity hints and a kind of complexity.
The finish is long, and the farmy memories of the nose reappear.
I am personally not a great fan of Glenturret, but I must say this bottle is the best I tasted from this distillery till now.
