A mix of sea spray and peat, expressing both a kind of freshness and this typical for this distillery camphorated and medicinal character. The nose is rather flat despite those nice ash notes which come in addition to the first impression.
The first mouth is smoky and slightly acid and develops quickly on medicinal notes.
The finish is rather short and fresh.
A good bottle regarding the quality price ratio, but certainly not a real "must have" for Laphroaig fans.
