Quite a discrete nose with malty and nutty hints and a touch of yeast. Marshmallow as well.
In the palate, a light bitterness completes a first smooth and pleasant contact, and the complexity which makes usually a great whisky is compensated by a nice balance. A discrete touch of smoke and another of citrus fruit.
The finish is more spectacular than the palate but here also the dominant seems to be a balanced malty and nutty impression.
