Jean-Marie Putz

Colour: Gold
The nose is very fresh, smelling cut grass, with soft notes of mint and hints of ripe fruit. A pleasant peat is added to the whole, but far from dominant. A nice complexity announcing a "pleasure whisky".
The first palate is very pleasant. First in the perfect extension of the nose, and after a few moments, slightly bitter chocolate hints appears. Alcohol is definitely present as well. The mouth is quite different than announced by the nose. We are no longer in the freshness registry but in the one of a subtle oak and discreet bitterness. Extremely pleasant mouth, by the way.
The finish is long and fresh. Some complexity has survived to this point. Some notes of smoke and a light woody bitterness complete the picture.
