The nose is marked by both citrus notes and peat smoke with medicinal hints. This quite austere character seems to develop soon on something much more convivial.
The mouth is clearly more interesting than the nose was. Very nice complexity with hints of chocolate and fish which seem to emerge beneath others ones, more fresh and fruity. Quite an unusual interlacing of tastes. Camphor notes come later, making the whole something very special and pleasant. The very oily palate enhances the pleasure.
The finish is lingering and the hints of oily peat and chocolate prolong the pleasure for many minutes.

The nose is gently marked by peat with some delicious fruity and acid notes on the background. Nice smoke hints covering the whole hiding some discrete chocolate flavours.
The first nose is marked by dry peat which develops quickly on complex bitter notes, remaining on the peaty register, a mix of fresh citrus acidity and rustic peat. Very pleasant anyway.
The finish is lingering, and if the mouth was marked by the dryness of the peat, the finish is much more oily, less austere.
An excellent bottle.
