The first nose is quite discrete. Malty notes followed by discrete fruit hints (green apple) an then very discrete touches of cut grass, menthol and marshmallow.
The mouth is first (fortunately very short) austere and then develops on interesting fruity notes and woody hints mix to the whole.
The finish is lingering, and primarily marked b the memory of wood. Not this refined wood which makes old whiskies so beautiful, but this kind of quite dry bitterness, which leaves a rather ascetic feeling behind.
