The nose is clearly marked by farmy hints and a nice peat behind a light veil of smoke. Peat, wet hay, cold ash are smells which seem to characterise this whisky.
In the palate, this whisky behaves very good. Peat and smoke. Very nice impression.
The same behaviour remains all along the finish, pure and without any compromise. It is exceptionally warm and lingering.
For a young Bowmore, this is a perfect example of the revival of the quality at this distillery. No trace of violet anymore. Despite its young age, this is another excellent whisky.
