The very first nose leaves a strong medicinal impression behind, ether, but develops quickly on nice cut grass notes, ripe fruit and spices. Nice complexity and nice contrasts between freshness and fruit smoothness. The developments are continuous and go on on clear peppery notes. If the rest is even good, this is an exceptional whisky.
The mouth is marked by coconut and very nice slightly woody motes. This is for sure an old single grain.
he finish is pleasantly fruity and the mix of fruit, walnut and chocolate prolongs the pleasure for long minutes.
