The nose is marked by pleasant slightly bitter notes, cashew nut, chocolate, smoke, spices (pepper) and some sea spray. Quite complex nose.
In the palate, a mix of bitterness and acidity, and a light presence of alcohol. Less complex than the nose was, this mouth remains very pleasant. Bitterness seams to dominate and the taste palette is rather limited.
The finish is of medium length. First the memory of bitterness. Bitterness, influence of wood dominates first and after a short while, it dims to disappear quickly.

Colour: Brite straw.
Nose: Soft fruits. A very delicious sour fruite note dominates clearly: Unripe Apples, green grapes, redcurrants or gooseberries sugared very little. No lemon or citrus notes, but you could guess rich vitamines in this dram from this nose. Soft malt or caramel (vanilla) in the back.
Taste: Not sour at all; no more healthy vitamines ... The vanilla is much stronger here, same like cereal notes. A subtle sweetness and even a little smoke with delicious herbal wood notes which lead into a soft
Finish: Full and warming and not very long but very well balanced.
Conc.: A very fine and pleasant whisky very satisfying for a Laddie to fit my budget. Great fruity berry nose...
