Jean-Marie Putz

Clearly a sea influence at the first nosing, with smoke notes. Some peat on the beach on a windy day, as the whole remains relatively discrete. No real strong whiffs but a nicely balanced discretion announcing a beautiful dram.
In the palate, very nice and contrasted notes of chocolate (mocha) and a slight spicy impression. The nose did no lie, this is a very nice balanced and specially pleasant whisky.
The finish develops on smoke before coming clearly back on this chocolate flavour so present in the mouth.
An amazing whisky for its age. An excellent surprise and a great success.
