A peaty nose and hints of smoke, the whole being rather discrete. We are far from the usual presence of a Caol Ila.
The mouth is clearly deceiving, with that impression of peat dipped in a kind of acid solution, made from citrus fruit and vinegar. The peat impression survives as best it can, but the general feeling in the mouth is some tasteless acidity.
The finish is quite inexistant, on the same acid tones as the mouth was.
