A frank nose, with spicy notes, peppery and menthol giving an interesting freshness to this whiskey. The coconut so typical of Springbank is not lacking at the rendezvous.
The palate is very pleasant, also spicy and offering a nice complexity, The coconut and the pepper notes of the nose are found in a nice balance.
The finish is relatively short, but very pleasantly diversified, from coconut to slightly acidic hints, and a touch of alcohol despite its 46 °. Very nice example of independent Springbank.
