A superb clear floral nose with nice smells of spicy mint an heather and some notes of liquorice.
The mouth is first rather acid with unripe fruit notes and acid drop hints, but however it is nicely "couloured" even if the nose was much more attractive. All the nose nuances have unfortunately disappeared from the palate.
The finish prolongs perfectly the mouth , with this acid freshness which prolongs for many minutes.
The high score of this bottle is due to the exceptional nose, and the relative deception of both mouth and finish did not make me change the finale note of 19/20.

A pleasant nose mixing harmoniously fruity notes (peach, ripe pear) and a smooth bitterness (cashew nut) before developing on nice floral hints. Nice complexity. A smooth and promising whisky.
The mouth prolongs perfectly the nose. Balance, smoothness and complexity. The pear and ripe peach notes of the nose are clearly present here too.
The finish is lingering and shows a nice development between several impressions too. The fruity smoothness of the mouth is dimming. The finish is a bit less nice than mouth and nose were, but it remains a great whisky.
