The nose is pleasantly invaded by a beautiful peat full of balance and without exaggeration. Very "clean". The smoke is quite discreet although well present. Some distant citrus hints seem to appear on the horizon.
The palate is also well balanced and the first impression is that of a beautiful peat that will slowly evolve to fresher notes, close to the fruit without being able to identify with it. A beautiful complexity although the range of tastes is mainly focused on peat.
The finish is long and perfectly extends the mouth, even if at times it seems even more complex than this one. This whiskey is excellent, but I was expecting even better, reading the enthusiastic comments it has elicited.
