Jean-Marie Putz

The nose is very fresh, marked by the vanilla, cut grass and citrus fruits. A nice impression of discrete and refined peat behind the first sensations. A light veil of smoke as well.
In the palate, a nice acid bitterness, or a bitter acidity, complex. A very pleasant mix of peat and citrus, the whole making it a nicely balanced whisky.
The finish is long and warm, on the same taste palettes as the mouth. After a while, it becomes dryer, with clear spicy notes. Exceptional finish.

Jean-Marie Putz

A discrete peat beside a nice freshness characterises this very pleasant and nuanced nose. Citrus fruit and grass, harmoniously mixed with a touch of smoke and some farmy notes.
The same nice balance is present in the palate too, and first some acid motes appear, quickly followed by peat and some woody hints.
The finish is fresh and lingering. Really contrasted, just like the nose and mouth were. Nice contrasts/
Another great bottle.
