Jean-Marie Putz

A fruity nose with discrete hints of bitter almonds, unfortunately the obvious presence of alcohol works clearly against it in first instance. Good thing is that it quickly dims to make room for clear dry fruit notes and some touches of citrus fruit.
In the mouth, the first impression is quite similar to the one of the nose. Alcoholic aggressiveness, acid notes, citrus fruit developing after a while on a more bitter palette of tastes. Nice complexity, but clear domination of acidity.
A lingering and strong finish, very fresh despite the remaining memory of strong alcohol.

A nice fruity and slighlty smoky nose. Some spices on the background and some smells somewhere between musty ones and mushrooms in a humid undergrowth.
In the mouth, a nice but paradowal impression of citrus freshness and old wood. The taste developes constantly between those extremes. This makes it rather complex. The percentage of alcohol does not hinder.
The finish is nice too, warm and woody, but however a bit short.
