Quite a floral nose with hints of fruit and some smoke. This whisky is quite special as the nose is first very discrete but after about one hour it is getting much more expressive. Flowers are clearly present, heather smells, light minty hints.
In the palate, a mix of freshness and a bit of bitterness. Nut, plum and a touch of chocolate. Could have been rounder despite a nice balance. A nice diversity of tastes even if it cannot really be qualified as a complex mouth.
Long finish marked by a nutty chocolate impression.
Nose is first quite trifling, but after a while it begins revealing some sweet floral notes.
In the palate, sweet but slightly bitter notes give this whisky a relatively complex character, but it does not really provoke great papilla enthusiasm ...
The finish is interesting, recalling some floral and sweet (honey) touches. May be the produce is right when he says it is good with some ice...
