The nose is clearly marked by the cereal. Some warm bread impression, bread like the bakers used to make when I was a boy. A touch of yeast also, the whole being nicely balanced. Discrete pepper notes near some wax hints.
In the palate, the aromas seem to release, nice complexity going from the malt sweetness to nice acid notes. A touch of fruit and some happiness above all. Discrete woody hints come and complete this more than pleasant palate.
A lingering and very pleasant finish, on the same palette as the mouth was, refined and particularly long.

The nose announces a nicely balanced whisky. No aggressiveness despite the degree of alcohol, some discrete sherry and cereal notes. Nice fruity touches as well.
In the palate, first a slightly bitter impression, covered by the power of this cask strength. Not really complex but very pleasant.
A long and warm finish, with nice malty or chocolate hints.

A very nice presence at the first nosing, fresh, slightly peppery, hints of bee was, without being however very contrasted nor complex. Some smoky hints seem to appear on the background.
The palate is really interesting and much more complex than the nose was, but the alcohol percentage is quite hindering if no water is added. A very nice palette, even if it seems to concentrate on slightly woody aromas, cashew notes. A the very first tasting, an explosion of citrus hints which quickly fades away. This impression is not present any more at the second sip.
The finish is very long, in the same notes the palate was, nut and some wood, the whole very fine.
