The nose is gently fruity. Despite a certain discretion, nice slightly woody notes, mix of notes and plum jam.
The mouth is as discrete as the nose was. Light variations between nearly ripe apple and walnut constitute a nice whole, without however giving a very great pleasure.
The finish is rather short, and a palette of hints from unripe walnut (more bitter than in the mouth) and malt are the main characteristics.
2008The nose is first quite discrete and after a wile begins to devolop it fineness and the beautiful balance between peat and smoke, and still later, nice sherry notes.
The palate is clearly less nice as the nose was, giving a kind of "watery" impression, slightly spiced.
The finish, by opposition, is remarkably long and nicel iodinized.
