Color: dirty Gold.
A nice nose full of character without qualifiable as complex. Fruity, sherry we guess behind this. At times, the nose looks more like an Armagnac than a whisky.
On the palate, it gives the same impression on the nose. These reminiscent notes of a grape based alcohol are present here too. The fruity (Quetsch jam) is easily detectable here also. The palate shows a nice presence, but would have benefited from a few extra degrees. This would have avoided the slightly watery side.
The finish is long and the perfect extension of the mouth and nose.
