Colour: Old gold
The nose is between malty notes and quite pronounced spices. A sweet mix of muesli and pepper in the background with some nice fruity notes. A hint of bitterness (gentian) over everything and we are facing a very interesting nose, both by its complexity as by the balance it has maintained.
The first sip is more surprising that really nice, mixing acid notes to the rich sherry with obvious presence of alcohol. Fortunately mouth comes up quite quickly to a nice balance where sherry blends harmoniously with discrete nutty taste and with fruity aromas in the background
The finish is warm and of medium length. Here too we have a few hints of sherry and a soft bitterness of cashews.
