Color: Gold
Against a background of malt, the nose is pleasant as well as slightly bitter. Cashews mixed with floral notes and hints of gingerbread. Discreet also gingerbread.
Initially, tingling due to alcohol, but this slight inconvenience disappears quickly.
On the palate the whisky is perfectly round with a nice complexity consisting of a mix between acid notes (candied acid fruits) and others evoking both malt and hazelnut. Any discomfort due to alcohol in the mouth.
A gently bitter finish fills the palate still for long minutes.
