The nose detects a whisky with lots of character. The malt and the smoke are rather present.
The palate reveals a strong and very pleasant smoke influence, on a malty background.
The very interesting finish is still dominated by a complex smoky character. A great success for those who like smoky whisky

The nose is strong, rather complex, but missing a kind of refinement and reveals smoky and woody notes.
In the palate, a woody impression and the alcohol seems to be stronger than it is really. Behind the wood, some prune hints seem to appear.
A lingering finis, very pleasant.

Quite a monotonous nose, even if it is rather pleasant. Malt and green fruits. A touch of smoke and flowers. The mouth is slightly more expressive than the nose was, with first some nutty bitterness developing on sweeter tastes and a touch of coffee. No exuberance however. The finish is relatively short and not really interesting.
This notes are rather different form earlier ones (evolution of the taste (whisky's or mine?) with the time...)
