Colour: Old gold
A very pleasant even if it presents a somewhat linear nose, marked by malt with a hint of sherry. Spices, especially pepper give it a nice terrain after a few seconds of ventilation.
On the palate, the first impression is the malt, but here pepper disappeared, giving way to subtle dried fruit mixes while still dominated by the malty sweetness. A beautiful presence, perfectly integrated alcohol.
The finish is warm and relatively short. Dried fruits come to the fore here.
An excellent whisky, especially if you consider its price.
