Color: Gold
The nose is slightly metallic and offers slight tingling at first. It then becomes fresh and fruity with nicecut grass notes. Followed by hints of hazelnut, giving a slight bitterness to this whisky that looks promising. Too bad tingling due to alcohol are struggling to fade.
The first attack is fairly aggressive, with a strong presence of alcohol and metallic notes as at the nose. The palate is quite complex, but unfortunately covers a variety of tastes that are not among my favorites. A high contrast of acidity and bitterness mix.
Fortunately, eventually things work out. And we are dealing with a beautiful mouth dominated by pleasant nutty with a hint of green apple.
A nice relatively long finish dominated also by the notes of green fruit and cashews.
