Color: Dark Mahogany
A nicely balanced and a beautiful freshness. Undeniable presence of sherry and a nice complexity. A very slight bitterness mixed with discreet aromas of plum jam announces a great whisky.
In the mouth, a clear sherry dominant, but a quick shift to fresh notes intermixed with hints of coffee. A nice complexity here too. The qualities announced by the nose are at least confirmed. However, sherry notes are a bit too present which makes it slightly disgusting. A shame.
A long, warm finish prolonging perfectly the mouth.
