Jean-Marie Putz

Color: Amber
A very nice sherry nose with nice notes of chocolate, plum jam. Alcohol seems perfectly integrated as no tingling comes interfere olfactory pleasure, at least after a few minutes of aeration. However, the nose betrays its relative youth.
On the palate, the alcohol is present without being annoying. It begins with a classic sherry to become rather quickly bitter, slightly woody. Everything is nice though lacking a bit of complexity, but what is more normal for a whisky of this age.
The finish is quite long and includes all the aromas of the nose, typical of sherry bottlings, cooked plums and chocolate. Some bitterness too, which does not lack charm, making it a very pleasantly subtle dram.
