Jean-Marie Putz

Color: white wine
Here is a Bowmore that needs time to open. A first rather spirity nose and frankly quite discreet for the rest.
After a few minutes in the glass, he finally begins to reveal its charms.
Pretty notes of ash, some hints of undergrowth, a little smoke and tobacco.
Alcohol is present, even if now there absolutely no discomfort.
In the mouth we have immediately a fireworks of tastes. Alcohol is very present but well integrated. Here's a whisky for cask strength fans. It contains licorice, some peat, and licorice again. The sea side is undeniable. The fleeting impressions of fish barbecue. Salty, of course ...
The finish is long, complex and extremely nicely balanced and licorice seem to dominate here.
