The nose is nice, marked by a mix of bitterness (nuts) and scattered fruit, hints of wax. Everything evolves slowly to form a coherent whole without exuberance.
That's a nose that needs time to open. Patience is rewarded. Still no exuberance, but a growing pleasure.
In the mouth, a feeling somewhat mixed first. Fruit but also the bitterness and alcohol. Once this is mastered alcohol is dealing with a fruity kind of austerity, where the mix of dried fruit and ripe fruit gives a certain pleasure.
The finish is long and warm. It prolongs perfectly the mouth, still with a fruity bitterness.
Without being dramatic, this whisky is nice and it requires a lot of time to fully appreciate.

The first impression on the nose is a kind of wax encaustic lemon. I do not know if it exists, but it is in fact a mixture of citrus and wax which forms the first impression. Then, while keeping the cocoon of wax, the scent evolves towards green fruit.
In the mouth, it is the same dominant impression first. We only guess the elegance of fruits which are present through a veil of wax, which is quite a shame. However, we are dealing with a quite balanced whisky without undue complexity.
The finish is quite long, and is a perfect extension of the mouth.
As in the first tasting, I found this a nice whisky but it remains far from being among my favorites.
