The second tasting confirmed the lack of complexity, but this whisky is excellent. The finish seemed longer, malty but balanced.
The taste seemed more pleasant and this is why the rating is higher than the first time.

The nose recognizes immediately a Speyside whisky, even if the complexity is less than for other malts from this area.
The taste, rather dry and slightly acid is far from being unpleasant, even if it is difficult to define.
The finish is a bit too short, and leaves hungry for more..

At the third tasting, the nose was very fruity (ripe pear), relatively complex, with some hay, cake and cinnamon smells.
In the palate, a kind of bitterness and some slight acidity, somewhere between wood (or walnut) and citrus fruit, going successively from the one to the other.
A nice woody and spicy finish (pepper).
