Color: Light Gold
The nose is immediately pretty fruity, combining green apple and ripe banana, with a hint of varnish over the whole. This is a fresh and very engaging nose anyway.
In the mouth iwe have immediately a great bitterness that amplifies with time. Nuts, cashews and oddly no trace of the freshness of the nose. That makes two whiskies for the price of one. Here again the impression is excellent, although the contrast with the nose is important.
The finish is quite long and is much closer to the mouth than the nose.
