Plum jam at nosing, quite austere ... I mean, not too sweet. Nice nose with sherry and a pleasant woodey side is detected. The fruity however takes over, providing a general sense of balance and a whisky that looks quite complex by mixing different scents it offers. Although these odors remain in the foreseeable register. Although after several minutes of aeration, notes of mint appear, therefore leaving the previous register.
The first mouth prolongs perfectly the nose, with a mixture of plum jam and cashews. A certain austerity which gives it a certain class. Initially alcohol anesthetizes a little the buds. It is far from all the promises of the nose and balance and complexity make lots of concessions. However, the mouth is very pleasant.
The final was a good length and is pleasantly warm.
