Color: Gold
The nose is dominated by fruity notes of fresh and sour first and then more sweet with hints of honey and a slight smoke towards the end. Aeration helps enhancing the flavours of this whisky. The nose is constantly improving in the glass.
The first impression is a pretty fruity. Soon the mouth becomes dry, but still very fresh. Nice citrus notes which unfortunately weaken fairly quickly. The taste is excellent, but this whisky seems slightly tired. Would it have been bottled a little too late?
Remains a very pleasant mouth, well balanced before the collapse of taste after a few moments.
Still a nice slight bitterness ...
The finish is quite long, even if discreet. We have fond memories of mixing fruit bitter.
