Ohhh, this is a whisky for peat freaks. Peat is extremely present and initially accompanied by tingling due to alcohol.
This peat is nice, but very lonely which makes this nose something quite monolithic.
The mouth is much nicer than the nose and despite the 63% it is very gentle and beautiful mocha fill the palate. Really a great success, this mouth is perfectly balanced even if it misses some subtlety.
The finish is long and warm and these pleasant mocha notes are there for us to remember the good moments that mouth just experienced.
