The nose has a slight tingling due to alcohol, preventing initially the smell to be felt. Fortunately, it does not last.
Once past the first impression, the nose becomes rather quiet on the malt and vanilla and dried fruit. Pleasurable sensations, but if it gives pleasure, it remains a relatively straight whisky.
The palate is fairly straightforward and starts with dry fruits to move rapidly towards notes of plum jam and fruit you can guess in the background. A fairly typical sherry configuration.
This mouth is better than was announced by the nose. Mouth giving pleasure even if not magnificent.
The finish is long and pleasantly marked by the bitterness of dry fruit while offering beautiful fruity sensations and being marked by sherry too.
