The nose is dominated by a relatively discrete peat, but this added to some peat smoke is pretty much the only thing one perceives on the nose. A nose for lovers of peat (and there are many ...)
A strange mixture of peat and citrus initially, and then move to a pretty chocolate notes always with this heady presence of peat. The cereal that gives the mouth a certain balance.
The final, relatively short stays in the register of peat and cereal
This whisky is good, but a little too monotonous with notes that are not my favorite. A lover of peat (even beginners) certainly will appreciate, especially because the same dominant peat is quite subtle.
