Colour: Old gold
The nose is dominated by that smell that I enjoy very little: the yeast. After a few minutes, this dominant fortunately fades and some farm or undergrowth smells appear. Then some notes of toasted bread.
In the mouth, we are dealing with greater complexity. Pepper and spices mingle with the pleasant taste of toast that was already announced by the nose
The finish is pleasantly long and hot with a touch of acidity.
A pleasant whisky, but relatively unbalanced. And the smell of yeast to me particularly hard to bear. But it's very personal.
