Colour: Old gold
The nose is dominated by one of the few scents that I find it hard to appreciate in a whisky : yeast. Too bad because this masks unpleasant smell nice sherry notes which unfortunately face great difficulty to surface. Hopefully following will be more to my taste ...
The mouth is not much more complex than the nose. The first impression is the mocha, which is struggling to evolve into something else. This whisky is a bit monotone.
The finish is well above the mouth and nose. Long and warm, very pleasant scent of sherry, chocolate, plum jam gives this whisky which has hitherto lacked: fun.
