Jean-Marie Putz

Color: Mahogany
The nose is very clearly marked by the sweetness of the sherry. It is complex, with both mocha and hints of candied fruit. Intense and complex, this is what characterizes this wonderful nose.
Very nice in the mouth as well. All the complexity of the nose is to be found back in the mouth and the pleasure is intense. Hints of sherry and candied fruit, plum jam dominate. This whisky is also remarkably balanced. A very slight woody bitterness provides some mid palate bitterness, but it is rapidly moving towards fruit and chocolate.
The finish is long and warm, prolonging perfectly the impressions in the mouth.
